DESCRIPTION:Click Here to book your training\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				This is an 8 session course: 27th & 28th January 10am – 4:30pm at the Lake House\, 3rd\, 4th\, 10th\, 11th February 9:30am – 12:30pm online\, 28th & 29th April 10am – 4:30pm at The Lake House. \nTalking about feelings and considering our wellbeingWithin sessions 7 & 8 Dr Treisman will guide us through creative ways of expressing and talking about feelings and a shine spotlight on our own wellbeing.These sessions explore ways of finding more engaging\, fun\, thought provoking and creative ways to ask the questions such as “How are you feeling about…?” and “How do you feel?”It covers: \n\nhaving thorny and uncomfortable conversations\nexpressive and creative tools in team meetings\, supervision\, parents/carers communication etc.\nhelping children express their children’s feelings about their life/situation/ experiences/transitions\nhighlighting the voice of the child\nwhat to do when someone says\, “I don’t know”\, how scaffold and layer conversations\nkey messages we need to model\, explore\, and teach children and adults about feelings\ncore therapeutic skills e.g. using miniatures\, building blocks\, masks\, drawing\, games\, worksheets\, cards\nwhy wellbeing is important\, how this can impact us\, how it can show up; some of the things we can do to try to mitigate it\nhow we can regulate ourselves\nrecognising secondary and vicarious trauma\, burnout\, compassionate fatigue\, and moral injury\nthorny bits of fostering and working in children’s homes and some of the impact on our own wellbeing and regulation\nwhat brings us joy about our work\n\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Click here to book your place on Trauma Series - all 8 sessions
