Introducing Everything, our new fostering film, created in partnership with over 100 councils! Fostering has the power to transform lives — not just for the children and young people involved, but for foster families as well. This transformative message is at the heart of Everything, a  heart warming film that showcases the incredible impact of fostering.

Everything – The Story

Everything follows Mike, a foster carer, and his family as they reflect on fostering Will and Zara, who are now adults. The film begins at Mike’s surprise 60th birthday party, where Will and Zara express gratitude for how foster care changed their lives. Flashbacks to the 1990s show young Will adjusting to Mike’s family, and later, in the 2010s, Mike teaching Zara guitar. Mike’s son, Chris, also reflects on the vital role of foster carers’ children in creating a welcoming home, showing how fostering impacts the whole family.

Lasting Bonds 

Many people don’t realise that the bonds formed through fostering often last a lifetime. These relationships provide fostered children with lasting security and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond their time in care, creating lifelong connections.   Everything delivers a powerful message: What you do with your life could forever change someone else’s.
