Magical memories were made as Sefton’s Fostering Service brought foster children and their fostering families, together for their annual Christmas Party.

Over a hundred and forty children, young people and carers really got into the Christmas spirit with lots of dancing, games, party food and drinks, bauble making and a fabulous magic show.

Dedicated staff worked so hard to make sure the children got a party they deserved by completely transforming Bootle Town Hall into a winter wonderland with sparkling lights and a cosy grotto.

But the moment of the night came when the children were surprised by Santa himself bringing special gifts and smiles all round.

The evening was a chance to bring everyone together, for the children to have fun, make new friends and special memories.

Foster carer Vanessa said:

“A big thank you to everyone involved in organising a fantastic Xmas party. My children had a great time dancing especially with the snow machine, games, crafts, and great face painting too.

Watching those faces light up with excitement at seeing Santa was just heart warming. It’s times like this that makes what we all do worth it, thank you so much.”
