Elspeth is a member of the Mindfulness Association, a Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy practitioner and senior supervising social worker and trainer. This programme supports your wellbeing to enable you to be equipped, both mentally and physically, to be able to support the children and young people in your care. The course will be guided by two qualified facilitators (Elspeth and one other) in order to safeguard participants’ wellbeing in the best way possible. The course has been designed to support those that are experiencing heightened anxiety, who are experience vicarious trauma in the care of others, have experienced stressful periods following allegations or those that wish to focus on their wellbeing.

The programme is designed to be attended each week consecutively. The intention is that the learner grows in understanding each week and can use their new abilities to become increasingly more mindful in different areas of their life and practice.
