These sessions will provide you with an understanding of sensory processing difficulties and how they can affect a child or young person’s ability to successfully aces learning, play and social situations in the home and school environments. The course covers:
Session 1: An introduction to sensory processing and executive functioning (including how Adverse Childhood Experiences can influence and effect sensory processing and sensory responsiveness)
Session 2: Deep Dive: Vestibular Sense and Interoception
Session 3: Deep Dive: Proprioception and tactile senses
Session 4: Deep Dive: This session will focus on key topics which attendees would like further support or information on.
